My 2006 Malibu 23XTI had tiered worn out carpet. Upholstery need work to so we ripped out the complete interior. Removed every stick of carpet from the boat. Prepped floors with a quality Primer and paint. Installed custom fabricated Seadek in Stormy Grey over Bimini Blue with Hexagon pattern. Then installed the interiors with new upholstery by MR J's Upholstery (No referrals as he's my father and he's retired) . End result. Brand new boat that looks fresh, is super comfortable and way easy to clean at the end of the day on the lake.

We made our own templates, you can too with mylar film and a sharpie

Looks amazing. Love the extra touches of SeaDek around the boat! Great job!

Definitely not a nitpick, but just a thought: if you powder coated the table receiver and center ballast tank aluminum frame the same color as the SeaDek grey (or blue?) it would eliminate all signs of anything flooring-wise from the "old" boat.

I'm in the middle of it too, Rugger...for me, it's been a long process but I've added several smaller projects to the entire deal, so it's spiraled out of control. When it's all done I'll be sure to post them all. Hopefully yours goes smoother than mine. What started out as a simple carpet removal turned into a fiberglass exercise due to the dreaded sagging floor issue. Oh well, it will be better than new when done.

Sorry, just now seeing this post. I used fiberglass and resin to level the floor. Then I used KiwiGrip to coat the surface.

Hello, my Malibu's interior was redone before i got it. Like yours, both the driver and passenger dash was not redone. Its still brown and tan. Can you help me understand why? Thank you...
