  • Trailer guide poles

Thought this might help someone out if your guide poles need replacing as mine did. I started by buying some 1.5 inch galvanized water pipe from my local hardware store. I chose to make each guide 4 ft which was almost 14 inches longer than the original ones. Once I cut the pipe to the size I wanted I drilled it for the bolt in the bottom to retain it to the trailer. I then slipped the new 2 inch pvc pipe over the galvanized and attached it by using two self tapping stainless screws as low as I could get them.Snapchat-545083543.jpg.98c8ebef5967832abbad3745933dca29.jpgSnapchat-186165594.jpg.8dbd38a5d528280cede84befc0a64cdc.jpgI previously had issues where my guide poles would come loose and float away, so that should remedy that issue for now. I also installed new pads and lights on top of the poles at this time. Snapchat-1967531013.jpg.c1b308379aeec1a1fd02570d3cdfb4d7.jpgSnapchat-671566118.jpg.d53390bc9194ba0502fa59679a375cdb.jpg
