  1. Total project was very time consuming. Probably 30+ hours. Templating took about 2 hours. Install was quick, but cutting the pieces took a while, getting the edges rounded out with the dremel sander requires some steady hands. Here are the trim strips. https://www.amazon.com/CHURERSHINING-Adhesives-Flooring-Material-(7-87ft)/dp/B07PM66SND
  2. I upgraded my factory 900lbs of ballast to about 2800lb total in bags. The factory W711 bow bag was removed and replaced with wakemakers 50 x 25 x 15 x 8 dual bow bags. I figured the factory bag only held about 300 due to compartment restrictions. These bags sit back further to fill fuller. Custom storage covers were made. The aft 250lb hard tanks were pulled out, batteries moved aft of the engine on a laminated sheet of plywood. This allowed the locker walls to move aft for max ballast. I ordered custom 1165lb bags from wakemakers. These run up to just aft of the cup holders so I still have full under seat storage. They fill to at least 90% full. Speaker protectors were made from 6" pvc caps. A side benefit, this project allowed for much easier access to the engine and transom. I had a leaking swim platform bracket that would have required the hard tanks to be removed to service. Bow bags were $282 and custom bags were $1014 plus fittings.
  3. This project started out with the plan to order Gatorstep, but after receiving a quote for $2100, I decided to go the amazon route. I was able to get my 4 sheets for $480 Here. This boat wasn't set up for eva, so lots of modifying had to be done. Carpet removed, low spots in floor were filled with foam, then epoxied over. The fuel tank cover was routed in flush with the surrounding floor. Aluminum strips added to the sides to fill in the 3/8" gap. I didn't trust the cheap eva's glue, so I installed using contact cement. I ran it right over the fuel tank access panel. If I ever need access I'll just cut a slit in it. The wall to floor gap was covered with eva strips. Overall this project is a major project. I'd recommend a different route if your not confident in your abilities.
  4. I reshaped my swim platform on my 2008 Tige RZ2 after seeing others report the original interfered with the wave. So I trimmed it down and fiberglass/gelcoated. I used eva from amazon. C14E1E2C-B6BB-4C2F-8C8A-4F7F9C618461.heic 93C180FA-AE97-438C-90D8-44E4307A7DC8.heic
