Not a true overhaul, but more of a needed repair. Bad cabin amp and head unit.
Swapped out the Sony DSX-M910UI for the new Sony MEX-M71BT as it is compatible with the transom remote as well as included integrated blue tooth. With a fabricated trim plate the M71BT fit right in and concealed the mounting screw holes left from the removal of the M910UI. The M71BT also has 3 pair of RCA pre-amp outputs like the M910UI, so your RCA are plug-n-play. Swap the power harness color for color and everything else plugs right up.
Removed the factory Alpine 5 chnl and installed the new Kicker KXMA800.5. With a little rerouting of the cables, it was perfect fit both size and wattage.
Added a bling as well. Installed white LEDs to the vents, wired to the unused ACC switch.
