I see you used Flex Seal Liquid for the irregular floor under the helm, how well did that work? I'm assuming it's pretty much self leveling? I have the same kinda thing going on in my 2001 2100v. I'm doing Deckadence, so Its not as important to get it smooth and level but I want to take the dip out.
I did initially, but it did not work well at all! So I stripped it and used epoxy, it was more work, but the the right way to level it out.

I have a 24ve the same era and looks identical inside but bigger. What did you use to trim around that gap between the floor and bulkhead? Looks great!
Thanks. I used 24ga stainless steel trim that I had made and secured it with glue and undercut hardware.

Looks amazing! You did great for someone "not particularly mechanically inclined." What did you paint the floor with?
I ending up using Interlux Brightside primer and paint, another option that was recommended to me by GatorStep was AWLGrip.

Really nicely done, looks like a totally different boat.
Really well done on the addition of the aluminum panels on each side of the floor to clean up those lines for the Gatorstep.
Our of curiosity what did the Gatorstep set you back for the custom layout?I was really surprised how many spots of the floor were uneven, the hatch area in particular! The thin trim pieces were the only way to clean up the edges and not create a bump you would feel.
The GatorStep was right around $950.

"Got some inspiration partly from this page so it is only fair that I share my project."
^^^^ best quote ever.
Great job on this. You've provided even more inspiration. Looks like a new boat with that in there. Time well spent. I'll probably have questions once I finally get started on mine!!
Thanks, I would suggest starting now - my mistake was waiting too long into the spring time to get my templating started which caused me to deal with GatorStep at their peak season this cut into the boating season by the time we completed the back and forth of the approval process.

Yes, soft white vinyl. I ended up re-using the old trim.
