Well I found a 4’x8’by 35” wide high density chunk of EPS foam. I built two different size hot wires foam cutter using neo chrome wire a spring some pvc pipes and a 27v transformer from Amazon. the first board I did I used guerilla glue to put my stringer in and I can see that way not being ideal. So I made 3 stringers to the exact same shape. I took a 4” slab cut off and they cut it in half. I put two stringers on the sides and used them to guide my wire for the side profile shape. It worked really good. Then I glued them together with a birch 1/4” stringer. I bought some templates off of green light to modify slightly to what I think will work. board is 3’9” going to do a transition double convex on the bottom and two fins. Well that’s the idea so far. also I have been collecting art work from my kid and from the other kids that come out on the boat and will put them on the board for art work. they where done with posca pens and put on rice paper. lots of fun so far and I will keep updating this.
